Canon 16 - 35 mm f4

12th November 2014
I recently acquired the Canon 16 - 35 f4 after Lee Frost kindly allowed me to try his lens during a trip to Lochaber and Skye in September. Until now my widest available focal length was 24 mm, and because of vignetting when using a filter holder this was more realistically 28 mm. A work trip to London and some time spent mooching around Duty Free at Heathrow proved to be expensive, but I am enjoying the additional range available to me and the colours from the lens are fantastic. I hope to be able to try it out on a trip to Harris in a few day's time (weather permitting - particularly the weather that determines whether the ferries sail).
